We have currently reached our hours possible under the Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) model. Any future dates missed will be required to be made up on the following Monday, unless it is a protected date, as per our board adopted school calendar. As of today, our makeup dates are as follows: 2/28, 3/14, 4/4, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, and 5/16.
How do you celebrate a 1st round District Victory???? Standing at a Sonic Kiosk for a delicious post-game meal! Hawks get the W and will now play Wednesday at 7:30 against the winner of Silex- Sturgeon.
Your Lady Hawks win their 1st round District game in convincing fashion over Van-Far. Next game is Tuesday at 6pm against Community R-VI.

There will be no boys games at Van-Far this evening. Girls play at Sturgeon in the 1st round of Districts tomorrow, 2pm. Boys play Monday at Sturgeon in the 1st round of Districts, 6:30pm
Due to weather and road conditions, Clopton Schools will once again be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 18. The district will again be utilizing AMI instruction.

2-22-22 we are celebrating in various ways. Below are dress up ideas. Also, we are asking students to bring snacks for the class that come in pairs such as zebra cakes or swiss rolls. We will not need many as we are using this as a sharing and kindness activity. Contact your child's teacher to see how you can help.
Due to the inability to acquire safe transportation for today’s weather conditions, tonight’s basketball games at Van-Far have been cancelled. The girls game will not be rescheduled as both teams play each other Saturday @ Sturgeon. The JV/VB may go to VF tomorrow evening.
Due to approaching inclement weather, Clopton Schools will not be in session tomorrow, Thursday, February 17. We will utilize the district AMI plan for instruction . The Elementary PTO meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening has been postponed until further notice.

Last Home Basketball Games of the Season this Friday, the 11th. 4 games tip at 5:30. Lil Cheerleaders will perform at halftime of Varsity Girls Game. 4-6 grade boys will play at halftime of the Varsity Boys Game. “It’s All About The Hawks!”
Congrats to the Clopton Quizbowl team on winning two of three matches tonight against Wellsville and North Calloway. The Quizbowl team improves their record to 7-2.
