A big shout out to the Clopton Hawk Cheerleaders & coaches!! At today’s 3pm boy’s game in the Bowling Green Tournament, this will mark their 6th consecutive day of supporting the Hawk Basketball Squads. Great dedication from a special group of young women!! Thank you ladies!!

Your Lady Hawks take on Elsberry this evening in the BG Tournament at 6pm. Tomorrow at 3pm, the boys will play Bowling Green. People’s Bank & Trust will cover the entry fee for the 1st 200 students at Saturday’s games.

BUS DRIVERS NEEDED The Pike County R-III (Clopton) School District is looking for bus drivers. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory FBI background check as well as drug and alcohol testing. Congratulations to The Clopton Quizbowl team that won two matches tonight against Bowling Green and Louisiana. Also to the JV team with two wins as well. The Varsity team has improved to record of 4-1 on the season! Good job guys!!!

It’s Homecoming - Game Day!!! Nearly 3 hrs until the Ladies tip….Can you guess who The Hawk is?????

Due to the winter forecast, Friday's JV and Varsity Boys' basketball games vs. Silex, and Homecoming Activities, have been moved to tomorrow evening, Thursday, January 13. Games will begin at 5:30 -Varsity Girls followed by Varsity Boys in the Dale Miller Gymnasium. JV Boys followed by JV Girls in the Old Gymnasium. Homecoming activities will take place after the boys' varsity game. The Junior Class Dinner is also being held tomorrow evening -Serving from 4-7 pm.

Congratulations to the Clopton Quiz Bowl team for their two victories last night in their first match over Mark Twain and Louisiana. Jack O’Brien lead all scorers with 220 points!!!

JVB/VG/VB secure wins over Wellsville. Some forecast models are predicting a good bit of snow beginning at some point Friday evening. Our administration is working closely with the Silex administration on various contingencies. We will keep our kids safe! Stay tuned for updates
